The Australian version of Video Village was produced by Crawford Productions for HSV-7 from 1962-1966. It was seen on weekday afternoons at 1:30. George Havrillay designed the set. Mary Maxwell reported in Listener In-TV, 23 Mar 1963 that it took over 2 hours to assemble, and was one of the largest sets of its kind at the time, spreading out some 45ft (14m) across the spacious Fitzroy Teletheatre where five episodes of the show were recorded at a time.
