#678 — Australian, African, Yemeni, Scandi

Listen back to recent programs

Program 678
El Khat
Broadcast

Among the new releases are a women's group from Arnhem Land, an edgy Yemeni trio called El Khat, Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, singers from Mali, Gabon and Ghana, and the beatboxer vocalist from Finnish group Tuuletar.  Sadly I'll also acknowledge the passing of Zulya, the Melbourne-based singer originally from Russia's Tatarstan.
