There's an annual festival in the Czech Republic called Folk Holidays where folk and strings have always belonged together. For this, one of their best CD releases of live recordings, Seckou Keita sings with his African kora, Antonio Toleda & Antonio Forcione play acoustic guitar, Germán López plays the timple, Martin Krajíček plays mandolin, Juraj Valenčík plays double-bass, and on violins, Juraj Stieranka and the late Jitka Šuranská (who was integral part of putting this great lineup together). You'll hear 14 mins of musical brilliance as part of our feast on music featuring variations on the guitar.
