Mandeng Groove - Conakry

#713 — Mandeng Groove // Persian connections and Constantinople

A chat with Kyle Muir about how he came to love West African Manding music, and his experience of travelling from Melbourne to Guinea with members of Mandeng Groove to record their new album 'Conakry'.

Then plenty of Persian music connections with the fantastic new album  by the Australian-based Eishan Ensemble led by Hamed Sadeghi, and a feature on the Montreal-based ensemble Constantinople including their surprising new collaboration with a Hardanger fiddle player from Norway.
